Description: This 8 hour training will provide the new user/law enforcement officer with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully perform the Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT). Students will receive classroom and practical hands-on training in PIT, including conducting the PIT maneuver at various speeds. For clarification purposes – this is not a “refresher” course.
Instructor(s): Eugene Reyes, and LESB EVOC instructors.
Equipment Required: MATC Training Vehicles provided; weather appropriate dress advised.
