Course Description: In this three-day course instructor candidates will develop, apply, and instruct specific communication skills and strategies in a variety of simulated situations. Role-play scenarios will be emphasized. This curriculum is endorsed by the Law Enforcement Standards Board and is required of instructors seeking LESB certification.

Prerequisite:

Must have completed the 32-hour CJ-IDC course before attending, OR be a currently-certified LESB instructor. Must be a certified officer with at least 3 years of experience. Must pass any skills evaluation conducted at the beginning of this course.
