– CLASS LIMITED TO 12 STUDENTS –
Course Description: This 96+ hour course, taught by a Master Instructor Trainer, prepares instructor candidates for certification as a Defensive Tactics Instructor (DT Instructor). This course replaces DAAT and POSC Instructor courses as of January, 2022.
Prerequisite: All candidates must have completed the 32-hour Instructor Development Course prior to attending, OR be a currently certified LESB instructor with 3 years full-time experience. Please email a complete DJ-LE-336 (with appropriate attachments) to reillyra@matc.edu before 09/08/22. All candidates must complete the pre-course study guide prior to the course start.
Equipment – Students will need to bring:
Appropriate Clothing for physical training, Duty Belt (remove all weapons and ammunition prior to class), ballistic vest, personal protective equipment, and note-taking materials (laptop recommended).
Course Fee: $470.00 (approximate)
