HISTORY
For over 50 years…
MATC Police Academy has provided instruction in Criminal Justice Studies, Basic Recruit Training, and Police Continuing Education, and is a Regional Law Enforcement Training Center operating under the direction of the Milwaukee Area Technical College and the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Law Enforcement Standards Board.

The MATC Community & Human Services Pathway empowers students to discover and realize their dreams by providing individualized support and efficient infrastructure for a lifetime of achievement and success. We strive to provide the most knowledgeable, experienced staff to deliver the latest in police training and technology to our recruits and in-service clients in a professional manner.
Our Mission
Professionalism, Integrity, Caring, Competence, and Leadership are keywords in our daily activities as we strive to develop and strengthen the mind and body of both the recruit and the veteran officer. It is only when all of these goals have been achieved that we can say our mission has been accomplished.
